Massachusetts Black Judges Conference regrets to announce that former Juvenile Court Judge Marjory A. (Collins) German, who dedicated her life and career to improving the lives of young people, passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 67. Judge German was appointed in 1998 by Governor Paul A. Cellucci after serving as a attorney for Roxbury Defenders Unit and Staff Attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services. She dedicated considerable time and resources to her beloved University of Michigan where she earned both an undergraduate and law degree. We extend our condolences to her children Jennifer and Michael, grandchildren, and her siblings Oreese Collins Jr. and Hester S. Pernell.
